Coty joins breakthrough EcoBeautyScore Consortium

This breakthrough initiative aims to develop an industry-wide environmental scoring system for cosmetics products, empowering consumers to make sustainable beauty choices.

With a global scope, the Consortium helps the beauty sector meet growing consumer demand for more transparency about the environmental impact of formulations, packaging, and product usage.

A first prototype is targeted for the end of 2022, which will provide the environmental scoring for a selection of product categories. It will then be verified by independent parties.
